Hong Kong Protests Damage Office of China’s State-Run News Agency

A day of clashes between the police and protesters followed a campaign event in Victoria Park that the police had deemed unlawful. The police used water cannons and rubber bullets to disperse the protesters, and the Hong Kong offices of China’s state-run Xinhua News Agency were damaged.
